Loved all of those series - all for fairly different reasons.

Detroit Metal City obviously for the fans and Krauser II.

Kamen no Maid guy for Kogarashi - the guy has 32 senses!!!! (Honestly, how the hell does that work??).

Daughter of Twenty Faces for a breath of fresh air in an anime. That and Tome.

ku ku ku.. Kogarashi is the ultimate meido and a force on par with TTGL. Perhaps even the only being in the universe that can match it.

But I can't say that I enjoyed Daughter of 20 Faces that much. It was amusing at first, but was generally dull for me. I know many people who liked it, but I just can't ever see why.

I just finished DMC today! They got Gene Simmons to play Jack in the live-action movie (which was okay; not as funny as the OVAs), too! GO TO DMC!

Kaisos said: <i>"Gotta be Clannad, yeah. I can’t think of any other show that would be on a top ten list, here.</i>

While I'd be surprised not to see CLANNAD, there's another show, that was considerably more enjoyable, that sits firmly on top of my personal Best of 2008 (even with strong competition from Jason's #2 and #4). It's a show that a fair number of us would probably have never even heard of had it not been for Jason naming it as a "five tool prospect" exactly a year and a month ago today.

Kemeko DX.

Funny how Jason mentions Kamen no Maid Guy as a "five tool star" in this post. Foreshadowing? Guess we'll find out in about 15 minutes, if normal schedule holds...

I made some comparisons between '07s top 10 list and this year's crop (and anime offerings in general), but I'll hold on to my complaints and criticisms until #1 is "officially" announced.

I'm going with the underdog and predicting Ga-Rei Zero as the #1 pick.
