The game and anime display her as victim with half-smashed face. That’s really difficult to fake :P
On the other hand there a 2 victims with totally smashed faces (if I remember right… the game definitely states it much clearer), so you are no completely wrong with this idea. Still difficult to proof even later on.

Well, if the requirement is to be voiced by a single-named middle-aged man with a distinctive voice (like Chafurin for Oishi-san), then look no farther than Grandaddy Ushiromiya (Mugihito). Maybe we should start calling him Captain Picard… Too obscure?

Unlike Batler or Jessica, none of his immediate family members are dead yet (Hideyoshi and Eva are his parents right? I don’t remember the anime saying anything specifically but that’s what I gathered from the way the introductions were worded). They haven’t really gone too deep into the characters personalities yet, but it’s entirely possible that the first and only thing on his mind when he sees the pile of dead bodies is the girl he proposed to the night before and hasn’t seen or heard from since.

You say that like EFD, meido, melonpan, bloodbaths, tiny headwear, almost but not quite civil power struggles, self referential inside jokes, engrish (ratin?) OP/EDs, nonsense syllables, chess, creeeepy lolis, and Phoenix Wright vs. a young Dame Judi Dench aren’t already well within our tastes. Well, my tastes anyway.
