I just watched Shanghai Knights, and I am surprised that I enjoyed it. Despite being disappointed by the inexplicatible Tuxedo and the un-Jackie Chan tone of The Accidental Spy, I found Knights to be a fun action flick that reminded me of the Jackie Chan of old.
The movie is riddled with twists (dumb twists) on historical events, and it does have it’s share of lame jokes, but in the end, all if forgiven for the martial arts action is the main focus. That and Fann Wong is cute.
