worst flight ever

I just arrived at home, and I’m as tired as ever. I was on a red-eye flight that had a hyper-active kid sitting right behind me who kept kicking my seat every minute. I couldn’t sleep. To make it worse, I comforted his mom saying, “Please stop your child from kicking my seat. I am trying to sleep” just to get a “It’s not my problem, you shouldn’t be sleeping on a plane” reponse. It’s a midnight red-eye flight. You’re expected to sleep. What kind of mom are you to let your kick run around an airplane at 2 in the morning? Shouldn’t your kid be sleeping? And what kind of parent goes on a red-eye with a little kid?
Then the person next to me breaks out a portable DVD player and starts watching Terminator 3 using the speakers turned up. I offered the guy my headphones, and he’s like, “Tough luck.” I wanted to hit his head with my laptop at this point. Instead, I whispered calmly in his ear that if he did not turn off the sound, I would “accidentilly” spill my water on his DVD player. This guy had major BO problems too.
When my flight finally touched down, we had to wait for almost an hour because of problems connected the walkway to the door. Couldn’t they just move us to another gate, like, oh, the one that was empty next to us?
Not to mention that the food/service sucked so bad. But that’s expected.
