19 second mark. She’s everywhere… no wonder they can’t film her disappearance.

Now it’s time for MSNBC to point out how Tylenol is encouraging people to watch animated porn..
…That was awesome.
>>Now it’s time for MSNBC to point out how Tylenol is encouraging people to watch animated porn..
lol, Tylenol found out how many people watch anime from that article and are appealing to the Otaku’s.
Viral marketing is vi-, Oh wow, hot!
Either that or buy more Haruhi DVDs.

lol XD
Oh ho, is dat sum viral marketing? :D
I wonder how that one ended up in there. Was it the person in charge of decorating for the ad shoot who placed it there, or did the ones in charge of scripting and planning the ad decide to put it there? And did they just plan on something “anime-themed” and some bright fellow, knowing about Oharuhi-sama’s notoriety in the circles decided it would be her. Or did they use it just because it was a huge poster, and they just happened to grab a TMOHS first from the bin?
In any case, more evidence of her continuing world conquest. :)
Well their marketing plan worked, they got me to watch their add in my spare time :).
Does it still count as successful if the ad leaves you more interested in the random background poster than the actual product?

Yes. The worst ad is one you don’t remember, and since you remember this one because of Haruhi it’s, in fact, an extremely good ad where anime fans are concerned.
Well played tylenol, well played…
Wow, saw that add so many times and never noticed. That makes me a failure…
And I read this blog, so that makes me a broken failure… ORZ
@Tallman755:
Except if you can remember the ad but not link it to a product. I honestly didn’t even realize it was for Tylenol afterwards until I started reading the comments here. There have been plenty of ads where I can remember pretty much everything about it except for what it was actually advertising, but maybe I’m unique like that.
Isn’t that Kyon’s catchphrase? So, does that make him Tylenol’s spokesperson (“not only am I promoting this product, I’m also a customer”)?
>>Isn’t that Kyon’s catchphrase? So, does that make him Tylenol’s spokesperson (â€not only am I promoting this product, I’m also a customerâ€)?
It would be a step up if they actually showed Kyon taking this stuff, then smiling. If it can get rid of Kyon’s Haruhi induced Headache, then there is nothing it can’t do.
Since I read it on this blog…
It’s a trap! It’s not Tylenol; it’s a sugar pill placebo!
haha! I was wondering when it’d get onto youtube! I was looking for it last week, when I noticed an anime poster in the background…then used handy-dandy Tivo to go back and pause it. :) Now I just wish I could find that PICTURE….
I deem Tylenol the world’s smartest company. If you make people go out of the way to watch your commercial then you are doing something right. In this case it’s Haruhi.
