Shaq recently played against Bill Gates on a televised X-Box Live session. With him also doing Radio Shack commercials, it’s no wonder the Lakers are 10 games out of first place. I’m not a Laker’s fan or really much of a basketball fan, but I do know that if Shaq put less effort into making commericals and bad rap CDs and more effort practicing free throws, he would become truly dominating.
Recently, affirmative action at the University of Michigan has gotten a lot of press. It’s been an issue since I was a student there goddess knows how long ago, and I remember they used to import protesters from elsewhere because not enough people cared about it on campus. Do I care? Not really– why would you care if you were already accepted?
War is dumb, but so is smoking, drinking alcohol, and Nascar.
Onegai Teacher is also dumb, and no one seems to be organizing a rally for it. I can’t believe this show is getting a sequel– even more so that Hand Maid Mai (Japanese spelling) and Tenchi are getting new sequels too.
Bucs and Raiders meet in the Super Bowl… Gruden coaching against his former team… should be a good match-up. I believe the game will be a blowout. Either Tampa’s defense will dominate, and the Raiders will go no where, or Gannon will smoke them with his arm. As my standard policy, I will root for the Raiders since they have the most Michigan players (Woodson, Knight, Wheatly) on their roster. That and I live an hour away from Oakland.
The music industry is whining again, and I’m sure no one cares. I sure don’t. It’s been a long time since I’ve felt the urge to buy a CD, and it’s not because I’m downloading– in fact, I’m not– I’m just sick of all the mostly because I can’t stand music today. Boy bands. Pop stars. American idols. Gimme a break.
Lastly, Kamzu has traded-in his Belldandy flag for a Hild one. We’re starting a pool on how far he’ll go– first base, second base, third base, home run, or strike out. Remember, he’s up against Thong, so this should be an interesting fanboy contest. Please use the shoutbox to place your bets.

MAKE IT STOP!!! “Doesn’t anybody know how to turn it off?” I would rather see Iraq victorious than more useless anime.
