I picked up Chii 4 today, and while there are fewer spelling errors than the recent Love Hina releases, I’m still disappointed about the quality. Oddly, when I browsed Chobits message boards, none really complain about this… especially not to the degree of complaints that I’ve seen on my own forums for that other series…
I never got around to finish watching the anime. Between the complete lack of any plot and the three recap episodes, I just couldn’t stomach it. Also, Chii is a nitwit and just doesn’t match up well against that combat android. But fanservice is fanservice.
Speaking of fanservice, the last few episodes of Kiddy Grade were highly entertaining because the characters played by Ishikawa Daisuke and Inoue Kikuko square off, and Inoue is in her I-No voice. She now officially has two voices: Belldandy (also seen in FFU and OT) and I-No. Now after reading Volume 25, I have visions (?) of that I-No voice for Demon Bell, and I think she needs a guitar. Maybe the one she had in Mini-G… mmm…
