It started with only nine sisters: Karen, Sakuya, Kaho, Hinako, Mamoru,
Marie, Chikage, Shirayuki, and Rinrin. The format was a series of high
quality illustrations (five or six) with text written across them � the
sister�s letter to their unnamed brother. About a year later, G�s started
the series up again due to HUGE popular demand. It was then that Haruka,
Yotsuba, and Aria were added.

Another year latter, G�s made the rumors true by releasing the first SP
game for PS. Using their influence, the company was able to hire high class
VA�s for the characters.

Another year or so later, the first anime showed up, and big brother
finally got a face, name, and voice.

G�s has been running the �letters to brother� as a monthly regular ever
since, and even though the success of SP hasn�t run dry (rumors abound of a
movie or OVA), G�s is gearing for Twin Girls as its successor. So far, TG
looks like it has as much potential as SP did.

The first anime series is based off the game, more than it is the original
G’s stories (I wouldn’t call them manga, per se) — but they�re still set
in their own reality.

The “continuing story” of second anime series (Re Pure) is almost a carbon
copy of the GBA game, but can still be considered a sequel to the first
anime series (one episode practically cements it).

The “sister stories” of Re Pure are “side stories” to the ones printed in
G’s magazine (thus why Wataru’s face is never shown and he looks different).

The anime, games, and magazine stories all differ a lot. For example, Karen
has a kitten in the magazine stories, but not in the game or anime. Wataru
is l33t in the magazine stories, but not quite so in the anime (***seals
lips***)…
