new viz manga licenses

I’m barely fighting off that food coma to write that Viz Manga announced both Drifting Classroom and Yakitate Japan today. (Source AoD) Hooray for Tsukino! Anyway, Yakitate is no surprise since Viz is known for gobbling down shounen series, but Drifting Classroom? I just don’t see that selling well.

    Hope they can carry the jokes over well for Yakitate.. I’ve already been burned before with tacky comedy adaptations (ie. case 104 of Negima v. Del Ray)
