Indignation of Haruhi Suzumiya 1: “
DOWN Achy Breaky Heart… we waited four years for a sequel to Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, enduring an epic 52 episode run of Kanon that was 50 episodes too long, three separate Full Metal Panic series, two full length Munto OVAs, as well as a remake of Evangelion. What do we get? Haruhi, Mikuru, and Yuki doing what looks like the “Achy Breaky Heart dance” for the MELODY Yume ED. What was Kyoto Animation thinking? That their younger than 25 audience wouldn’t remember the horrors that were Billy, Ray, and Cyrus? I will now impale myself with a shishkebob needle. (Editor’s note: Billy Ray Cyrus is the governor of California in 2010, suceeding Angelina Jolie who beat out Ah-nauld in 2006. Shaq is the president.)

God, can you believe how Ouran Girl’s School Host Club is doing? Seriosly, enough with the hints already. We get it, they’re all lesbian maids.
And have you been watching Chou-Chou No Naku Koro Ni? Killer Shota for the win! My favorite is Kaoru and Hikaru, I can’t decide who was who in that phone scene. I think Kaoru is Oyashiro-sama’s son. Still can’t believe the ending to the stupid original, the entire show was really the visions of an autistic kid looking into a snowglobe of Hinamizawa?
Oh, gotta go, I forgot that I’m teaching Haruhigasm lessons today. It’s been hard to get new converts ever since those Mikuru extremists crashed those giant boobs into the empire state building.

Speaking of the Meido Power Rankings, I’m still disappointed that Magical Maid Koyori doesn’t appear on them. Granted, she doesn’t really serve much of anybody, but Magical AND a Maid. And rides around on dessert. What isn’t there to love?

I re-enlist and finally get my Tokyo Billet. Mass mutiny err…mobilization of all military forces, recently inducted into Haruhi-gasm, on Japanese soil results in the great burning of all things Kanon. KyoAni is taken into “protective custody” after a 5 hour seige. Hence forth the survivors produce a faithful depiction of the Haruhi novels, golden age of Haruhi-sama spin offs and omake begins in gratitude for their salvation. Achey Breaky Heart is replaced by the macarena. The orginal footage of the Kanon “epic” is fired into the sun producing a really neat solar flare.

After a trial before a jury of furious Haruhi fans all implicated in delaying the second season are found guilty and summarily hanged…up sidedown in full Kanon and EVA regalia to be spat upon by the general public.
Decemeber 2010
In a last show of defiance rogue elements of KyoAni build a true scale replica of EVA-001 and declare their faith in the 3,720th clone of Hideki Anno and try to put out Evangelion Weapons Grade Plutonium edition with autograph. Unamused the US Navy fires 2 rounds from their positronic canons from the Arabian Gulf one at the crotch and the coup de grace at the base of the head. The Anno clone and his supporting thieves are stabbed to death under a bust of Rei.
Wow, three days of work and on the first day this. I hope to see you blogging when I finally get out in 30 years.

It never cease to amaze me how fast things move around on the internet.
I just have to say that an Ender’s Game anime movie would be… beyond awesome. I’ve tried to persuade a lot of people that it would be a good idea over the years but no one’s ever believed me!
And I’ll still be coming home ever day to check on the blog…studying hard, majoring in Haruhiism…yeah yeah. We will all be talking like Tsuruya and I’ll be wearing my maid costume, just to serve tea and be clumsy.

I’ve been hearing for a lot of years about Orson Scott Card making a script for a movie or something similar, but being realistic, there’s no way they are going to put real naked children in space on Hollywood. Just anime (Of a quality near to Elfen Lied) can make justice to a great book.

Eerily accurate: 3 years for more Haruhi (but at least there’s a movie), 52 episodes of Clannad, Munto TV, and the Eva movies. Alas, not even a hint of FMP to be seen :/
