(Somewhat related, I enjoy the classical, historical Chinese soap operas as much as the next person, but I have never seen one where there’s a guy who has a few wives but two or more of the wives are desperately in love with each other. I think there’s real opportunity in making this type of opera. Or maybe KTSF just needs to start showing those.)

Well maybe from Taiwan and perhaps where there is a significant Chinese diaspora, but the PRC is not in the business of allowing the production of licentious propaganda. Damn commies. If I see another thrice cursed epic about Mao I am going to burn their flag in front of their embassy…

I never got into the soap opera business. I much preferred the cheestastic kung fu-ing of the TV adaptations of Jing Yong’s books. But a soap opera about lesbian polygamy (is that what you would call this relationship?)… maybe in a liberal Afghanistan… 100 years from now.

There’s this Indonesian film called “Berbagi Suami” (literally: “Sharing Husbands”. The official English title is “Love For Share”) on polygamy where two wives of a polygamous guy fall in love with each other and decide to run away in the end.
Well, I don’t think that could apply to Nanoha and Fate, but anyway. I’m a little sad StrikerS hasn’t showed any singh of shoujo ai yet…

Subaru’s romance with Teana is Chiyo’s way of saying: “HA! I got Nagisa! Take that Tamao and Shizuma! And Trust me, Yunno doesnt want to be husband right now (In between explaining why Vivio doesnt resmemble her and the possibility of having an Affair with Fate?)
