(And, yes, Shugo Chara has officially replaced Nanoha as the go-to magical girl series. The fact they are rebooting that franchise pretty much admits, “Yeah, we fucked up StrikerS. VIVIO should never have happened.”)

By some freak reason, Firefox just decided to load the bottom picture (the lulu-ko one) before the Shugo Chara one.
The good thing (?) is that I didn’t feels a thing looking at lulu-ko pic. However, I have this strange funny sensation looking at Shugo Chara pic.
Either I’m a perfect healthy young male, or a twisted broken person who are also about to become a lolicon.

Shugo Chara is one of those series which needs a little caption popping up every now and then.

Mind you, I’m not sure whether that would steer viewers away from the path of lolicon or into it.

Hmm. When I was 12 I still had a fuctional Atari 2600 (it is still fuctional actually). However I tended to play games on the Apple IIe or some early 286-386 capable games on an IBM clone.

And if you guys are thinking just Utau is hot, you might be safe from being a lolicon. At least Utau is fourteen (or maybe fifteen by now). I’m not aware of what the lolicon cut-off age is, but Utau’s getting close to it I’d say. Still mildly loli-ish when she pouts, but she’s not nearly as dangerous as Amu can be. But they all trick you into thinking they’re older…
Actually Jason, if you look at the same Megami magazine scans than revealed the Nanoha movie, you’ll see that, in the cast list for StrikerS, VIVIO is labled as TAKAMACHI Vivio. Oh my…

Also, Shugo Chara is, uh, getting more episodes. It’s mostly okay, but some of the filler episodes REALLY stick out like sore thumbs.
Where are they practically legal? Japan’s been working on that age of consent thing for a while, and if you’re going to Japan to do a kid (you pedobear), you’ll be prosecuted under your OWN country’s laws. :P
They’re kids, still. Granted, I’ve seen a lot of kids blossoming early now (I’m told it has something to do with fast food), but… well… that’s a little daring for those two, even if Uatu’s into bro-con.
Shugo Chara? Finally. It’s become one of my favorite shows ever. Nearly every character is awesome. And yes, Ikuto is the luckiest guy on the planet (Utau and Amu? Lucky bastard).

I guess I’m not the only one broken here. I don’t think Anya is Marianna’s clone, but… well, if you read the spoilers, you’ll know.
My biggest problem with Shugo Chara is that over 50-70% of the anime is filler arcs and random material. The manga however is very interesting and yes, a good magical girl series. Though technically the guys character change to, and Queen is a reverse trap who has yet to explain it to Amu. His reasoning: “I’ve been going into women’s baths, and acting just like a girl up until now. How do you think she’ll react when she realizes that a guy saw her during those times?” As for feeling things for the characters, I simply prefer to forget their age. it helps. Besides, the art is Peach Pit, the pair that brought us Rozen Maiden and Zombie Loan. I do however love the fact that they got Mizuki Nana to voice Utau. Not only does it fit her character well, but I think that’s also one of the main reasons the Nanoha fans are drawn to the series.
Anyways, I made feel extremely bad for thinking “She’s so RAPEABLE!” every time I read the manga…. but at least Comiket reassures me I’m most certainly not the only one, as there’s an ample supply of Shugo Chara Doujin…
