I got back from Yosemite yesterday, but more on that later…
Right now, all I can offer is some BoA. I watched some of her vids, and they’re all the same. It’s her dancing in some weird, but cheap-looking, locale, with 4-5 backup dancers. Her videos has as much creativity as Bollywood.

I rarely watch Asian music videos, but they play them at the pearl tea place that I frequent. For the most part, Asian vids are horrendous. The better ones try to copy off of MTV, and that’s not saying much considering the level of crappiness that is MTV. One of my favorites to rip on is any F4 video– they define “being gay.” I have no idea how a grown man wearing a pink tank top with “Muffin” across it is any way manly. Of course, the girls go wild for them. They also like to draw out heart shapes– but hey, whatever gets you groupies, nee?
The worst ones don’t even fit the song. Horie Yui’s Love Destiny has her swinging in front of a mic in some haunted house on a rainy day. It’s a peppy song that went with a sugary anime– he vid conveys the opposite, like she’s about to get killed by some mass murderer or something.
Then there’s the ones that make no sense, like Utada Hikaru’s Can You Keep a Secret? where she dances with that Honda robot and also S.H.E.’s Beauty Up My Life where the girls float from one poorly done CG scene to the next.
I just think they need to put a little more effort into this. Maybe BoA doesn’t have to have backup dancers or wear clothes that make her look like she’s some preppy high school student. Maybe the guys from F4 will grow some facial hair and disappear faster than NKOTB. Any just maybe we can get a video of Koda Kumi in a hot tub. It really doesn’t matter what she sings at that point.

lol.. BoA is only 16… kids are normally in high school at that age…
plus… don’t you think that she’s an unusually good dancer and singer in one.. i don’t know any other singer who can dance nearly as well as she can

So, u shud respect her not diss her. U hav a really stupid problem. What’s wrong w/ her clothes? They’re fine to me. I’m a BoA fan and a lot of peepz r BoA fan so shut up.
shiet i have no fuckin clue what you’re talking about…i also have no idea how i landed on this page…BoA and Utada Hikaru rock!! you go and try to dance as well as BoA does and all you’ll accomplish is getting your ass to fall on the ground…don’t talk shiet about ppl unless you can do what they can or be better at it. i don’t see you out there dancing your heart out and singing at the same time…i don’t see you all over magazine covers…i don’t see you attracting over 10,000 ppl to your stage…as for BoA’s clothes, she can wear whatever she wants! there’s absolutely nothing wrong with what she’s wearing and if you’re so concerned that it’s “cheap” then why don’t you try to go make suggestions for someting else? damn…you diss others but you yourself can’t do any better…and so what if the title of the song has incorrect grammar? it’s the fuckin music that matters…man i have no idea who you are but whoever you are you need to shut the hell up. damn hater

Ok.. before I’m bombarded with similar flams, I’ll state my stand clearly. I’m not a fan of BoA, but not a hater either. Yea, stuck in a middle with no attitude =p shoot me =pp
If anyone ask me what kind of people/things I hate, I’ll answer. But this is out of the point here. Now, to my point.
Most flammers are people eaily hurt and super obsessive of whatever they thought they liked, thus prone to being unable to view things correctly. You like it or not, right is right, wrong is wrong.
When you say don’t start criticising others what she can’t do herself.. you’re actually doing the exact samething you preached others NOT to do ^_~ Because, how do YOU know that she can’t dance even better than BoA? You yourself said you don’t know this person whom you despiced for lowering your idol.
Now.. Hypocritic? Or plainly blinded by a certain emotion called “Anger”?
Secondly, even if BoA has millions, BILLIONS of fans from all over the world, it doesn’t mean she’s the best. It doesn’t mean she’s loved by all. It doesn’t even mean she’s loved by the majority ^^;;; Unless of course, you can state out the number of BoA fans and calculate it to see if it’s majority in the world’s human population.
I’m not a Christian or Catholic or anything related to the Bible, I’m just going to use this as an example:
There are ALOT of people who follow/love/believe God, but there are ALOT of people who follow/love/believe in Satan or the devil or something.
I’m not saying which is the bad one or undeserving one here, the God or the Satan, you have your own choice. ^_~
My point is, there’ll still be ALOT of fans going gaga over a celeb or something which YOU may think is downright lousy. Turn it around, what you’re going gaga over with may be downright lousy to others.
ALOT of fans she has or not, it doesn’t matter. There can have many many fans of someone which you don’t like too. Unless you’re one of those who’ll like whoever/whatever that’s popular, doesn’t matter the quality, the personality, the attitude etc… Unless you’re one of those that’ll like something as long as it’s popular -__-”
You get pissed over someone whom you thought judge things with her own scale, but you’re actually doing the same thing. -_- She “dissed” BoA dress sense and you thought it’s very unreasonable for her to judge BoA’s style via her own likings. But you loves BoA’s style and becomes protective here because of your own likings too.

When you have opinions correcting about something, at least talk with sense or you’ll just make a fool out of yourself.
One good example here is the comment of some1… Her “BoA is only 16… kids are normally in high school at that age…” is good enough to explain why she dresses/acts like a High-school student.

I find it rather ironic that many of the anger prone fans that have recently insulted this post have horrible grammer and spelling themselves. Not that I’m trying to be offensive or anything… -_-u It just usually seems that on an Otaku website that you would actualy speak more like well… Otaku. Instead you sound like those idiotic gangsta rappas (and i spell it wrong intentionaly) who don’t know the least bit of how to write speak or compose proper sentences. Honestly morons like that are so seceptable to ready made personaltys and reputitions that they can be psycologicaly manipulated by such dirt crooks. I’m not the very good at spesllling either and ii’m not trying to say that rap should burn in hell. ( unless were talking about western music then satin can stick a fork in all their asses.) I myself ocationaly listen to some forms of rap such as that of Dragonash (their from Japan so dont call me a hippocrit).
Any way now that that is out of my system I have to say that I find the music, (including the videos) culture and practicaly everything else that Japan, and the far east, has better that that of the US and all the other western countries. This is probably because of my asian decent and the fact that there are so mnay ignorant red neck bastards in the west, trust me I know. I find that both Boa and Utada Hikaru are brilliant artists who I happily listen to while studying the works of Manga Ka to sharpen my skills and enter the buisness. ( either that ofr orchestreic symphonies like one winged angle) As for the music videos much better than the crap I get here in the US. I mean you said it yourself MTV=crapiness prime.
If there is one thing that I know to be definite itis that as long as you go through life you’ll meet people you disagree with. So instead of insulting them take in their opinion and consider it. As for myself I dont really care what your think because chances are you have no idea what so ever the last 5 (or was it 4?) training halls of the Shinobi are and if so i could easily bend your mind to my will. I probably wont though since the precence of yourself is often needed for full fledged manipulation.

PS: I agree that once Koda Kumi performs a video in a hot tub that it really wont matter about the song or the content. After all so many already drool at the sound of her very name.
Seriously dude I havent laughed that much since I first saw the movie Liar Liar, but seriously that was just plain stupid.
BTW I was wondering if Some1 was still a member of SBA or not cause someone should give him spelling and grammar lessons ;)
