Yuji’s mom conveniently has a swimsuit from Mashiro’s Jailbait collection for Shana. (Speaking of Mai Otome… is it a good or bad thing that they ran the same damn joke in both series?)

Shakugan no Shana 9… coincidence?

The day that they pick to visit Waterland just so conveniently happens to be running a calvary competition.

This competition conveniently has a grand prize of all-you-can-eat melon bread.

And conveniently, neither Tenma, Eri, nor Ichijou are competing in this competition.

Yuji and Shana are conveniently placed on separate teams thus ensuring for a scenario where Shana goes Kaede on Yuji.

And, you know what? I don’t care. Service, service! This series has been most entertaining when Shana is crazed and looking like jailbait, and this episode delivers on both of those fronts. The only way the episode would have been better if we had a catfight between Yoshida and Shana going, “Tastes great!” “Less filling!” while ripping off each oth… okay, I’m just ranting now.
