Japanese blogger Flower Thief has posted comparison between TV and DVD 1 and DVD 2 for Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya as well as the “added scenes.”

    Don’t forget about the Secret _Mikuru folder on DVD Vol 2. I want to import it, based on that feature alone.

    That’s… A lot of scenes that weren’t there in the original airing. Wow. Oh, and is it just me, or did they change that part where Haruhi extorted Kyon’s help in creating the SOS-dan?

    I think the only “new” scene is where Mikuru falls on top the table. The rest are just production fix-ups, like the grill for the flat panel.

    I did find it intersting that the episodes are now being put in order… did they have to remake the next episode previews?

    You are actually really close! I have seen the one for episode 1 (2 in the TV order), and it is really like that.
    Something like “Suzumiya Haruhi no Yuutsu. Ichi. Mitte.”
    It was kind of hot.
    I’ll miss Kyon and Haruhi craziness over the previews. But hell, that gives me a good reason to keep the TV episodes.

    First time to comment here, but watching this site for a long time. Just rented Episode 00 Last week, I saw it. Makes me regret I wasn’t paying attention when They aired it. Sorry if I sound awkward, I’m really sleepy.
