I have my Haruhi DVD on pre-order… and it seems like Wired has it too. I’m conflicted. Part of me is horrified that Haruhi is in Wired. Part of me is relieved that Wired is talking about an anime other than Ghost in the Shell. AoMM review of the DVD forthcoming… timotei!

I’ve had this pre-ordered for so long now, thanks for reminding me that it’s coming out in only a short time now.
Same Here. Put on pre-order for the Limited Edition the moment I could. Though, thats mostly because I’m not sure if I will be able to get the Limited Edition in Australia…
I’m also planning on getting myself Brigade Commander armband to wear to work on the 29th :)

The dub is bad, but then again I usually don’t bother with it; I mean, the best english VA is Kunikida! Mikuru is alright, but doesn’t change her tone at any time.
Oh, and there is 5.1 audio in english dub only, which makes worry about the episode 12… But then again, they might not mess with the concert.
I sure missed my two months vacation in US, wired is one of best magazine I read in years.
Expect the dub version to somehow got into nicovideo and produce a bit of engrish laugh among otakus.
Mwahahaha, I got my Haruhi pre-ordered back at the end of March. And thanks to Right Stuf running one of those save 40% even on preorders, I got myself a pretty good deal for the special boxset.
They’re going to be screening Haruhi as well as holding a Hare Hare Yukai dance contest at Anime North this year… which I’ll be dropping in on in two days.
Anime Boston had a boot with Hare Hare Yukai running on a loop. I heard at least one person say “WTF is this? I’m so getting it!”
By the way, have you seen the preview images for the next Higurashi next? I see a picture of Satoko and Rika dressed up as goth lolis among the images.

Dang, you beat me to this jason! Actually was reading this month’s WIRED a few days ago and saw Haruhi randomly like that. Was going to write something about it but haven’t had time this week… oh well.
Crazy stuff that WIRED had Haruhi at 7… or at all…
Bwahaha, I’m heading to the launch party on the 29th in LA. Patty Lee, and Haruka, here I come! (This is one of the only reasons why I like working in Downtown LA…)

rightstuf sent mine out on thursday so i will be getting my LE vol1 sometime next week. $35, no shippin and no tax.

Yeah boy! spang got his today and it’s some good stuff. The box eminates the good old fresh out of the factory/vat of chemicals smell. Only wish they included a 団長 armband instead of a headband thing.

The arm is included in the vol 2 limited ed. Which i also pre-order.

I got the special edition box alreaady as well, I happen to like the dub since I’m a huge fan of Chrispin Freeman. Also its easier to enjoy the animation without having to try to read the subtitles and look at the animation at the same time.
