I’m sitting here thinking of the only thing that could save the PS2 from sitting unloved and covered in dust is Guilty Gear Online. Then I realized that they have not yet announced a platform for it, so I’m hoping X-Box Live and thus subjecting the PS2 to being that “third console”. Though it’s doubtful, but Live has been the superior online gaming experience these days. Lo siento SOCOM. What I want in the online experience is to be lag-free and to have friends tracking– both are built into Live, and I also would like downloadable content. Maybe even stick Dizzy into DOAX. Now that’s pandering to the audience.

Then I thought– what could be better than this? Ikaruga for the Gamecube! Woohoo!

Maybe now for my next wish: Final Fantasy Extreme Volleyball. “After defeating the evil Kefka and reuniting with his brother, Edgar decides to transform his desert palace into a tropical beach resort. He then invites all the Final Fantasy characters for fun in the sun, but being Edgar, it’s only the girls. Watch Tifa spike! Watch Dagger serve! Watch Rikku lounge around in bikinis! Watch White Mage indecently feed strawberries to Rosa!” Woohoo! I can only imagine a job class system, a la Tactics: Setter, Hitter, Server, Lotion Rubber. Double woohoo!
