It appears that in the past, there was a not-so-unfamiliar love triangle between the previous Flame-Haired, Red-Eyed Hunter, Wilhemina, and the Guze that is/was Shiho. So do Flame Haze age? It seemed like back then it was in the Middle Ages with the swords, shields, and castles. Now, as Shana accends to become the new Flame-Haired, Red-Eyed Hunter, there’s a cell phone tower visable as the Tendoukyu comes crashing down. And why would Tiamet allow Wilhemina to spend so many centuries looking for and training a replacement when she could be out there hunting? And why does Wilhemina go from European social dress to meido uniform? And is Shana getting enough nutrition just from melon bread?

Now I’m intrigued, and I want to learn more about the previous Flame-Haired, Red-Eyed Hunter, and I’m not just saying this because I want to see Wilhemina in her European social dress. =)~~~

Of course, it’s pretty clear now that the final arc will have to be a tug-of-war between Shana and Yoshida, and Yuji getting in the way of Shana using The Flame of Heaven’s ultimate spell. In other words, Mahoromatic episode 13. With the series approaching its seventh inning stretch, I just hope we get to see Wilhemina again.
