I had hopes… foolish hopes… Sunrise will never change.
(And maybe that’s a good thing as for blogging is concerned.)
I liked episode 1 more. Edmond was actually a pretty cool character, and Selene was much hawter. Oh, it also had decent pacing as well as buildup. This episode just had a bit too much going on at once… they somehow managed to cram a death, a flashback, a foreshadowing, as well as gratuitious mecha fanservice shots all into fifteen minutes. Whatever. I wanted mobile suit combat, I got mobile suit combat.
Well, back in episode 1, the EA gets their rescue effort slaughtered by mobile suits. Wasn’t even Rika vs. Shion close. Now, in this episode, we get to the see uber Gundams mow down Zaft refugee camps. I mean… come on. War crimes != plot.
(Just loved Sven’s “Mmm… I know I probably shouldn’t mow down a refugee camp, but, oh well, screw it, let’er rip!” face. What was this supposed to prove? That Sven hates Zaft? That Sven is badass? That Sven obeys his superiors? That Sven was brainwashed into this? Ugh. 15 minutes is not enough time for an anime episode.)
Then there’s Stargazer, which is Sven’s new theft target. It can’t be a CE Gundam series without an l33t mobile suit getting stolen. You’d think that they surround these things with more security.
(And you’d think that they’d be running on something other than HTML. Oh, yeah, it’s special ability is supposed to be able to use a solar sail-type of propulsion. I’m sure Shinn and Rey are quaking in their boots right now.)
Of course, I was happy to see cameos. Neo, Stellar, and Nagi all make brief appearances.

WTF HTML!!! this is gundam(sunrise) though so i guess they use crap….but still isnt this the future or something for gods sake THEY CAN MAKE GIANT ROBOTS but cant program shit
what could we expect from 3 episodes… at least we get to see stellar in this episode.
Something like this was also in gundam wing, when Heero is being examined. Some text (supposedly medical details) flys past. If you freeze it, you can read it as the installation instructions for an archaic version of photoshop.
Hard to beat ‘SEXCAM’ from Stage 1 though. ^^;

At least Sven was smart enough to read about Albert Einstain… I just love Alternative Universe.
Damn you SUNRISE! This is the only Gumdam series that I love & you do this… what’s next? I know the answer for that… Gundam Seed Movie someday next year
Isn’t that the explanation given for why Kira owns so hard? Because he knows how to actually program, he can totally whip all those… er, HTML script-kiddies. Some of the tags aren’t closed with a > and “ahref” should actually be “a href”. Plus, is it really necessary to use those 1×1 and 1×2 pixel spacer .gifs?
On a separate note, today I also learned that I am STARG.
I liked when people actually had to work to win a fight, like in 08th MS Team. The first episode seemed to follow this. The first few seconds of this episode seemed to take the bus, give a 1043 degree turn, and crash into a ditch.

Sunrise’s next project on the SEED series: Grand Theft Gundam: ORB City. That’s what this is leading to.

I’ve lost all hope for Sunrise. This company’s at its “sundown.” I liked Mai-Otome as a show, but it only resulted in lesbian he-girl pRon.
And I’d get started on how horrible Mitsuo Fukuda and his ball-&-chain are… But I’d be kicking a dead horse.

Plot A:
a powered up suit with awesome specs gettin stolen by emo person and then getting killed by (insert person) at the last moment with flashbacks and a shitload of cliche
Plot B:
powered up suit with awesine specs gets stolen then emo person goes on joyride, defects from military and goes on to become the ultiment coordinator….
Plot C:
Suit stolen, blown up, and sunrise continues with random battles and gay announcer saying there will be a movie or something about how the pilot didnt really die and then spawn a new series in which kira,athrun and other charactars are gone (PLEASE GOD NO CAMEO’S) and doesnt suck as bad as Destiny
so take your pick lol
If you guys REALLY want a “Grand Theft Gundam: ORB City” then we should all pool together a few million, buy the rights from Sunrise, and then use that new XNA Xbox360/PC Cross-Platform Development Kit for “normal developers” that Microsoft will be releasing… eventually. What do you guys think?

and lol@gsd zwei. i’m pretty sure you could explain at least half of everything today with seed/destiny/otome.
i really miss rena from earlier. i still enjoy watching higurashi but not as much without rena going crazy and taking things home.
well all i can say is that this ONA is designed for anime watchers with a sever case of ADD or something damn it jumps soo much i though i was going to have ADD lol. Anyways at least they brought back one thing from the UC is that it is a Gundam not a goddam. At least these ones die if they screwed up can actually can me destroyed by something besides a gundam. Unlike kira and is perfect uber skill which drove me and my buddies nuts. How can u dodge over 200 shot directed at you that just made no sense there was not even a single scratch on that damn things unless they are dealted by another gundam.
(My theory) Something important probably happened during the series thats why they have only 3 ep.. and after the 3 ep ends they might just probably start a whole new series or continue on with stargazer with every character from the past GS and GSD and including the new characters from Stargazer.
And to back up my first comment.. Bandai wouldnt be so stupid to just make 3 episodes and leave it like that. Even if they r trying to rake in more money they would probably make a 50 ep series instead of a 3 ep because ppl would be buy more of their gundams and shit. Plus, they wouldnt have waste their time making only 3 ep of stargazer when they can just make another series with new characters and new gundams and making new toys for all the gundam buying ppl to buy. They r probably building up the story unlike the director of GSD whos a complete moron.. and whoever saids the stargazer ep sux.. then u havent really seen the first 3 ep of GSD.. now that sux..
