The Aya Hirano gravure book is… uh… good reading.

It’s not often that I run across a gravure spread for a seiyuu, but Aya is cute in that Japanese next door neighbor-ish kinda of way… if your next door neighbor happened to voice some of the most popular current anime characters.

The odds of a scandal in the next three years involving Aya and her manager? Very good. I hope it eventually leads to fanboys burning her CDs, DVDs, and Blu-Ray.

Enjoyed the Engrish of her “Did you cum twice? I need a tongue bath!” T-shirt that we wears for the Haruhi live concert. That, by the way, has another post incoming too.

Alright, time for a vote… Aya Hirano or Mika Kikuchi?

    aya’s appeal has definitely taken a huge turn since the days of “dame deshou hamada-san” and i’m not sure this new sexy/skanky image suits her all that well. it’s probably the makeup abuse – she’s plenty cute without all of that. this photobook wasn’t particularly interesting either – with the exception of that first image you showed and a few others with the same bathtub and ass-hugging polka dot bloomers.

    she either needs a better photographer or needs to go the bikini route as kikuchi has – make it happen aya!

    As long as she does a good job with her roles, I don’t mind what she does in her personal life. BTW, we have another self-reference of KyoAni on episode 18 of Lucky Star, but this one is too hilarious… Konata as an ARM SLAVE pilot (with Arbelast in the background)
