  1. I just want to put a toy fire truck in a big white van and kidnap her. Is this weird? So Kyute <3

  2. So… Last chapter (29) when that girl talks to him…
    Who is she again?
it says Read the first volume. I went back again and she looks like that girl who came out of the computer screen in Chapter 6.
So does that make him Delusional like the guy in Chaos Head?

Am I over thinking it perhaps, maybe it just means he wants us to buy volume 1…

  3. She was the first girl they had to capture.

  4. Hau~! Omochikaeri!

  5. Ten chapters, hurrah! I knew when I saw them last evening there would be a post on Derailed soon. Everyone should read TWGOK because- OH HEY A FIRE TRUCK! AND IT’S RED!

  6. My favorite manga at the moment is a shounen romantic comedy, and it’s ALL YOUR FAULT DAM- ooooo, firetruck.

  7. I hope fire trucks are Jason’s new obsession, God knows he’s been going on about traps and genderbenders long enough.

Fire trucks are healthier. Even Optimus Prime turns into one once in a while.

  8. Alright, I caved in and started downloading from the beginning, but not for the firetruck, dammit. I’m not a huge fan of scanlations.

    Damn, this guy ain’t human.

  9. this made my day, thanks for the heads up

  10. Ah, the screams of agony when people find out it’s really the 4chan party van. =\

  11. First girl hum?
Could that mean that possible he will be building a harem. WILL HE BE BUILDING A HAREM! perhaps that next person (childhood friend?) will get jealous and that how he will capture her. hum…
I think 10 chapters spoiled me, I want the next one already…

  12. >>Fire trucks are healthier. Even Optimus Prime turns into one once in a while.

Yeah, but knowing Jason, traps and genderbenders will make their way in there somehow, and then we’ll end up with genderbent Optimus…. Actually I think I’ve seen that doujin somewhere before.

  13. :3

The Haruka chapter was fantastic. And if I was disappointed when it looked like Keima wasn’t going to be the one to kiss her at the end, I was doubly so when it turned out Elysee wasn’t going to either.

And with Ayumi’s surprise return looking forward to the next too!

  14. >>and then we’ll end up with genderbent Optimus….

Only relevant GIS result I could find.
There was not nearly as much disturbing as I was expecting hoping.

  15. Her name was Hakua.

Definetly a fun read. It was good to get some long-overdue backstory on the world, since its pretty much useless with El… OH LOOK! A FIRE TRUCK!

    *cough*

It was also a tad scary to see “20 – 29” all go live at once. Not that I am complaining. It was interesting to see the martial arts girl fighting against her inner girlishness…. Literally.

    Favorite Line of these releases….
“Yakisoba bread for me, please.” “You’re still here!!”

  16. Damn. I wanted to gloat about reading it raw.

Oh well… I loved that they reintroduced the track and field club girl again. I liked the character a lot (despite her having blue hair… ughhh what were they thinking!?)

  17. good stuff.

  18. >> Her name was Hakua.

Ah, yes indeed. Must’ve been brainwashed by some blog or another that likes referring to an actual Haruka.

With 10 out after such intermittent releases I tried to pace myself…but I ended up reading them all in one sitting anyway.

  19. What’s with all the Charlie Brown references?

  20. Went through all 29 released chapters. Haven’t read anything that good in a long, long time. Now that I’ve read it, I can understand the thread a while back where people were speculating which character archetype Keima would have the hardest time catching. Personally I think trying to get specific characters from other shows would be much harder than a vague character archetype.

“Yakisoba bread for me, please.” “You’re still here!!”

The Ranma 1/2-style faces in that scene made it even better.

  21. I also caved — and am I glad I did.

  22. >>What’s with all the Charlie Brown references?
The author obviously likes the original slice-of-life comic ;-)

  23. >>What’s with all the Charlie Brown references?

Agreed. Also, Peanuts had Sayanora Zetsubou Sensei beat by decades, teaches us the life lessons that sports anime are afraid to show, and was master of the mindfuck (kite-eating tree, the Great Pumpkin, Snoopy’s delusional fantasies) long before mindfuck anime came along.

  24. What’s with all the Charlie Brown references?
What, you don’t like it? Good grief.

  25. It’s not that I don’t like them, it’s just that I wouldn’t have expected to see them in a manga…

  26. I know. I just wanted an opportunity to interject a cliché’d and unneeded witty response on the subject, no hard feelings.

  27. (Double post; I actually did NOT mean to sound sarcastic in that last post. I tend to type faster than I think, my bad)

  28. Ahh—– A FIRE TRUCK!! And a toilet seat cover!!

  29. I’ll be surprised when we get the new and improved death foods blogged. Delivered with a smile just like Nayuki’s mom use to do it.

  30. Stop looking at it Jason. Look away from the Fire Truck. Move towards the light of the monitor.

  31. Just spent the last chunk of my day starting and getting completely up to date on this manga. And it’s easily one of my favorites. Like – Keima is in a category of cool all on it’s own.

And Elsee “I’m your husband’s illegitimate daughter!” (as an introduction to Keima’s MOM).

Most entertaining read in the past few weeks.
