Since I’m in the mood for some nostalgia, here’s some of my favorite posts from 2003.

Leveling Up (June 2003)
It was fun to write, and I eventually saw it cut and pasted into numerous anime forums, some of which actually credited me back. I blatantly wrote it for the community as the certain levels were just extreme stereotypes of certain community members at that time. I have been dying to rewrite this sometime but never got around it to.

“Is This Pr0n?” (June 2003)
Bathtime hijinks ftw.

Shine We Are! (July 2003)
A simple post trying to get Koda Kumi to appear in a hot tub turns into comment warfare. I love it. By far my favorite comments.

Best Regards (July 2003)
One of my favorite off-topic posts. I still hate the duplicity and insincerity of corporate e-mail and how the goal of corporate e-mail is to absolve oneself instead of communicating something useful.

Bad Jason Bad! (Sept 2003)
Idiotic IRC conversations always make good posts. For the record, it took me ten episodes to turn on Saikano.

Fun with Chinese Generals (Oct 2003)
Originally, this blog featured gaming tidbits as well. This post about the now titled Battle Vixens was one of my favorite crossover posts between the gaming and anime categories. Cao Cao with breasts sounds weird, but it worked… can you imagine how awesome learning about American history would be if Grant piloted Strike Freedom and Sherman had Infinite Justice, and the two went against Lee’s Destiny? Lincoln could be Meer.
