The world desperately needs a Wilhelmina -tan special where she sits on Shana’s head and goes, “De arimasucha! De arimasucha! De arimasucha!” It would end world hunger, cure cancer, bring peace to the Middle East, and rid Ayumi of her curse. Praise be! That’s the power of Wilhelmina -tan… testify de arimasucha!
Anyway, one episode to go, and the battle for Yuji reaches it climax… as well as Yuji and Hecate’s exploration of each other.
Shana and Wilhelmina tackle Belle Masque’s fortress, only to be lured into an episode of Melody of Oblivion. Weird robot creatures, arrows, disturbing sexual imagery, JC Staff… come on, it’s like Bocca’s fight on that monkey space station just without the monkeys. Meanwhile, Hecate and Yuji argue over petty details like, “Who’s raping who?” Now at least I know why Syndoney was acting like a father on his daughter’s wedding day when Hecate went to “pray” with Yuji in the previous episode.
Through the course of the battle, Shana realizes what Yuji means to her. She loves him. Awwwww. I really hope he gets a non-melonpan gohobi now. (Am I evil for thinking, “She would know exactly what she wants from Yuji now.”) Even though it took almost the whole series, Shana is finally true to herself. She not only admits that she loves Yuji, she admits that she’s more than ãŸã 㮠フレイムヘイズ; she is both human and hunter. The Flame Haired, Red Hot Eyed Flame Haze earns a few points with this fanboy.
The scene is set for the final battle, and it looks to be one crowded final showdown. How does one fit three premier battles: Wilhelmina vs Bel Peol, Margery vs Sydoney, and Shana vs Enma Ai in a single episode? That doesn’t leave a lot of time for any resolution between Yuji, Shana, and Yoshida let alone any more appearances by Chigusa. March madness, indeed.
Here’s to the last episode, and hopefully more Shakugan no Shana in the near future. (I just hope it’s not about Yuji’s house floating in the middle of an ocean.)

Now then, for Shakugan no Shana, finally Shana realizes the truth about her feelings for Yuuji, and Yuuji finds out he is the one seeing Shana not as a human, else as a Flame Haze. We’re going to have an exiting final episode next week (no blog after seeing final episode from ES). We will see a happy ending? Or maybe a tragedy?

Preach it brother! Halleuja! Alas things aren’t as simple as they should be. The final ep looks most promising, three fights in one night. If it lacks melon-pan let the hunger strike begin for more more Shana-tan, and Wilhelmenia-tan. Thank the maker that Shana has made a decison and Yuuji got his head out of his rear. Kudos to melon-pan and the boy mistes, you are both above and beyond the bastard son of Tate, enemy of women, Imperator of Incest.
I’m not sure about the above benefits of creating a Wilhelmenia-tan special (^_^;;) but any xxx-tan special is always welcome. I know, let’s start a petition!
Possibly Wilhelmina-tan can still be topped by nekomimimeido-Wilhelmina-tan.
Also we can blast SUNRISE and My Otome with all our might for not taking up Jason’s offer to write for them FOC but if it’s one impression that series has left me with then it’s Tomoe’s idea of what “gohobi” is.
um…whats gohobi again? ^^;;
I believe gohobi means prize a reward if you will. I guess depending on the situation it can be used a euphemism for, well…anything.
Shana and Yuuji need a good hit to waek up!
Last episode… maybe half of it for the fights and the other half for the resolution… a happy ending?
